Stephen N. Potter was named president of Northern Trust Global Investments, confirmed spokesman John O’Connell. Mr. Potter replaces Frederick H. Waddell, who was named CEO of Northern Trust on Jan. 1. Mr. Potter previously was Europe, Middle East and Africa region executive at Northern Trust. Biff Bowman, executive vice president and head of client servicing for the EMEA institutional investor group, will replace Mr. Potter. NTGI has $757 billion under management.
