New York State Deferred Compensation Plan, Albany, issued an RFP for a firm to provide global custody and trustee services for its $10.4 billion 457 plan, according to its website. The Bank of New York Mellon is the plans current trustee and custodian. Kevin Heine, spokesman for Bank of New York, could not be reached by press time. A copy of the RFP can be obtained from Linda Schlissel, senior consultant for Evaluation Associates Inc., who is assisting in the search, at (203) 855-2260. Proposals are due March 28. Neither Ms. Schlissel nor Edward Lilly, the plans executive director, could be reached for comment by press time.
