Wilshire Funds Management launched a large-cap core 130/30 strategy, said Jim Dunn, managing director and CIO of Wilshire Fund Management. The strategy was launched as an offshore limited partnership. The Cayman Islands offering will be distributed by Bear Stearns, Mr. Dunn said. The multimanager fund uses three fundamental managers, two quantitative managers and one manager that uses both styles. Mr. Dunn said he could not give the names of the managers for regulatory reasons. Victor Zhang, portfolio manager and vice president, will oversee the new strategy. The strategy hopes to produce returns of two to five percentage points above the S&P 500, Mr. Dunn said.
