According to a preliminary job description distributed to the boards trustees, the position requires no heavy lifting but does require fingering, or to be precise occasional fingering.
Under job description a primary category called physical demands states: primarily sedentary in nature with lifting of approximately 10 pounds with occasional lifting of small objects; sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, fingering.
Commenting on the physical requirements, Michael P. McCauley, director of investment services and communications, said: Thats a standard description added to all job positions. Its an HR thing. Its not position specific.
About the meaning of fingering, Mr. McCauley said: Im not sure. Maybe it has to do with using the phone or typing.
Hudepohl & Associates Inc., Worthington, Ohio, an executive search firm, is helping the board recruit candidates for the position. Gary L. Hudepohl, principal, is heading the recruiting drive. No timeframe has been set to complete the search, Mr. McCauley said. Barry B. Burr
