Milwaukee City taps transaction measurement firm

City of Milwaukee Employes’ Retirement System hired Global Trading Analytics to provide transaction measurement services, pending successful contract negotiations, said Tom Rick, CIO of the $5.3 billion fund. GTA will measure and evaluate trading performance of the system’s domestic and international equity managers as well as fixed-income managers, he said. It’s the first time the system has used such a service; it was recommended in a 2006 fiduciary audit by Independent Fiduciary Services, Mr. Rick said.
