Pittsfield (Mass.) Retirement Board issued an RFP for an investment consultant, Karen Lancto, executive director, confirmed in an e-mail. The $97 million plans current consultant, Segal Advisors, can rebid. Ms. Lancto said the board is re-evaluating its needs because a majority of the funds assets is being transferred to the states Pension Reserves Investment Trust, a pooled investment fund. The amount to be retained by Pittsfield has not been determined, Ms. Lancto said. RFPs can be obtained by calling (413) 499-9468 or by e-mailing Ms. Lancto at [email protected] Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EST Jan. 18. Officials could make a selection by late February, Ms. Lancto said.
