Michael J. Connelly, a senior adviser to Carlyle Groups telecommunications and media team, died Sunday after a fight with cancer, according to a news release issued by his family. He was a managing director in Carlyles U.S. buyout group until last year. Mr. Connelly, 55, is survived by his wife, Anne, and his two daughters.
Visitation was scheduled for 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son funeral home in Greenwich, Conn. Funeral services are set for 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Ignatius Loyola church in Manhattan.
