Managing director joins Parker Global

Jon L. Stein joined hedge fund-of-funds Parker Global Strategies as managing director of strategic initiatives. The position is new. Mr. Stein oversees product development and marketing for foreign exchange, portable alpha strategies using commodities, global natural resources and investible indexes. He had been CIO of alternative manager AlphaMetrix Investment Advisors; his duties there have been assumed by other staffers.
