Los Angeles Fire & Police Pension System rehired AllianceBernstein, FIS Group and Attucks Asset Management, said Michael Perez, general manager of the $16.7 billion system. AllianceBernstein runs $2.9 billion in an S&P 500 fund, and managers of emerging managers FIS and Attucks run $137 million in large-cap core equity and $59 million in small-cap value equity, respectively.
Separately, the board is expected to choose a real estate consultant for the fund’s $16 billion real estate portfolio in early 2008. System officials issued an RFP in November because incumbent Townsend’s contract was set to expire in January. Townsend has rebid.
