Oakland County drops Boston Co. Asset

Oakland County Employees Retirement System, Pontiac, Mich., terminated Boston Co. Asset Management, which ran $40 million in active core international equity. The system, which has $1.5 billion in defined benefit assets, made the move after Boston Co.’s international equity team left to join Munder Capital in August. A search is under way for a new active core international equity manager to run the money, said Keith Sawdon, chief deputy treasurer. Asset Consulting Group is assisting.
