Oakland County Employees Retirement System, Pontiac, Mich., is searching for an active core international equity manager to run about $40 million, said Keith Sawdon, chief deputy treasurer. Board members of the system, which has $1.5 billion in defined benefit assets, decided to replace Boston Co. Asset Management after its international equity team left to join Munder Capital in August. Asset Consulting Group was appointed to handle the search. Mr. Sawdon said he expects the boards investment subcommittee to review potential candidates toward the end of October. No further details could be learned.
