Overland Park (Kan.) Municipal Employees Pension Plan will hire a consultant to help determine whether it should outsource record-keeping responsibilities for its $38 million 401(a) plan, said Mike Russo, manager. At issue are whether the city ought to change the plans valuation to daily from monthly, and changes in fiduciary liability that would result from using a third-party record keeper. Questions should be directed to Mr. Russo at 913-895-6130. The RFQ is available at http://www.opkansas.org/_Assets/clerk/legal/bids/rfq_MEPP_specs.pdf. Responses are due by 2 p.m. CDT on Sept. 28.
