Mutual fund firm taps co-chief exec

William Guilfoyle joined Matthews International Capital Management as co-chief executive, confirmed Mark Headley, who shares the title. Mr. Guilfoyle will oversee all aspects of the business except for investment management, which Mr. Headley will continue to run. Mr. Guilfoyle will try to expand the $10.5 billion mutual fund firm’s client base to include more institutional and ultra-high-net-worth clients, said Mr. Headley. Mr. Guilfoyle was an independent consultant focusing on business development and strategic planning.
