Robeco Investment Management will offer three sustainability strategies through Sustainable Asset Management by years end, according to a news release. The Sustainable Water, Sustainable Climate and Global Sustainability funds will be actively managed using a variety of strategies that will appeal to both institutional and retail investors, said Robeco spokesman Scott Sunshine. SAM uses company-specific sustainability criteria in valuing companies.
SAM, which has $6.1 billion in assets under management, co-publishes and co-licenses the Dow Jones Sustainability indexes.
Sustainability strategies have generally performed above benchmarks, and the market is developing at a fast pace, Reto Ringger, SAMs founder and CEO, said in the release.
Separately, the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index will be reconstituted Sept. 24. It will add 42 new companies and drop 33.
