BGI picks Europe equity strategy chief

Kevin Chang was named head of strategies for active equity, Europe, at BGI, where he will lead the strategic direction of the active equity business in Europe and the development of new investment strategies, confirmed Lance Berg, spokesman at BGI. He replaces Nico Marais, who was named head of active equities, Europe. Mr. Chang, who is based in London, reports to Mr. Marais. Mr. Chang was director and global head of derivatives solutions at Credit Suisse. Wesley McDade, spokesman at Credit Suisse, could not provide details of his replacement before press time.
