Tweedy, Browne will launch a worldwide high-dividend-yield value equity fund Wednesday that will invest in reasonably valued companies around the globe that offer above-average dividend yields. The fund will be aimed at both institutional and retail investors, said Hedda Nadler, spokeswoman for the firm. As of July 31, Tweedy, Browne managed approximately $14.7 billion in domestic, international and global equity portfolios, including $8.4 billion in the firms global value fund.
