Pennsylvania State Employees Retirement System, Harrisburg, renewed its contract with Cambridge Associates, the $33 billion funds alternative investment consultant, confirmed spokesman Robert Gentzel. The existing contract expires next year; at that point it will be renewed for a five-year period. An RFP was issued earlier this year.
Separately, the fund committed up to $30 million to Advent Latin American Private Equity Fund IV and up to $15 million to PNC Equity Partners II. The system will also make a follow-on commitment of up to €10 million ($13.8 million) to Alpha Private Equity Fund 5. The system previously committed €60 million to the fund.
