Clark Strategic Advisors changed its name to Stratford Advisory Group, the name of a predecessor company. After AEGON purchased the investment consulting firms parent company, Clark Consulting, last year, the insurer sold four consulting units, including the investment consulting business, to Clark & Wamberg, a group led by Thomas Wamberg, CEO of Clark Consulting. The spinoff of the consulting units was completed in March, said Theodore L. Disabato, CIO of Stratford Advisory. Stratford will operate independently from the parent company.
The new ownership structure will have no impact on day-to-day operations, Mr. Disabato said. The firm also plans to add staff strategically, either through acquisition or through individual hires, he added.
