SSgA names managing director for Canada

Gregory Chrispin was promoted to managing director of State Street Global Advisors’ business in Canada, confirmed spokeswoman Arlene Roberts. He replaces Carl Bang, who will relocate to Paris to lead the firm’s business in France and Spain. Mr. Chrispin will report to Otello Sturino, COO for SSgA worldwide. Mr. Chrispin was CIO in Canada; he will be replaced by Peter Lindley, who was promoted to vice president and head of investments in Canada and will report to Mr. Chrispin. Mr. Lindley was senior portfolio manager on the fixed-income team. Ms. Roberts said his responsibilities will be shared by existing fixed-income personnel in Canada.
