State of Wisconsin Investment Board, Madison, reissued its RFP for a consultant for a one-time project. The $93 billion fund restarted the search process because of the lack of response to its initial RFP, which closed in April, said Vicki Hearing, public information officer. The assignment includes identifying potential changes in SWIBs investment authority to facilitate its ability to meet the retirement needs of beneficiaries in the (Wisconsin Retirement System), while minimizing contributions from employees and participating employers, according to the RFP, which is available at www.swib.state.wi.us.
Proposals are due June 8. The board hopes to make a decision June 11, so the consultant can begin July 1 and complete its work by Sept. 14.
