Marc T. Charon was named executive vice president and chief administrative officer at the Managed Funds Association, Washington, confirmed spokeswoman Meg Bode. He replaces Kate Rice, who became senior vice president-communications at the Futures Industry Association, Ms. Bode said. Mr. Charon will be responsible for MFAs daily business operations, including financial administration and budget management, membership development and services, human resources, marketing and communications, and MFAs educational conferences and seminars. He will report to John G. Gaine, president.
Mr. Charon was vice president-financial management & accounting services and infrastructure business unit and CFO at the American Society for Bone & Mineral Research and interim CFO for Americas SAP User Group at association management company SmithBucklin Corp.
