Norfolk County Retirement System, Canton, Mass., is searching for at least one manager to run a total of up to $46 million in a 130/30 strategy benchmarked to the Russell 3000, and an active international bond manager to run $20 million, confirmed Gus Aristizabal, consultant with Wainwright Investment Counsel, which is assisting. Funding for the 130/30 portfolio, the systems first, will come from a redistribution of the plans 38% domestic equity allocation. The plan added the portfolio for diversification. The bond allocation is being run by Wellington Management; Mr. Aristizabal declined to comment further. Patrick LePage, chief administrator for the $580 million plan, was not available for comment at press time. The RFPs are available on consultant Wainwrights website at www.winvcounsel.com/rfp.html. Proposals for both are due by noon EDT June 1.
