Texas A&M University System, College Station, issued an RFP for a master trust and custody services provider for its $2.4 billion in commingled university investment funds. The contract is for six years beginning July 1, according to the RFP. The system could award two contracts, one for master trust and custody services and another for securities lending. Mellon Financial, which currently provides master trust/custody and securities lending services, will be invited to rebid, said Maria Robinson, director of treasury services.
