Anne Bookwalter Walsh was named managing director at Guggenheim Partners Asset Management. It is a new position. Ms. Walsh will specialize in fixed-income portfolio construction for insurance and pension clients, said Jeffrey Kelley, vice president of strategic communication. Ms. Walsh was CIO and senior vice president of Reinsurance Group of America, where she was responsible for a $19 billion portfolio. Guggenheim managed $3 billion in fixed income for RGA, according to a Guggenheim news release. Jane Walsh, an RGA spokeswoman, was unable to provide information about Ms. Walshs replacement.
