Ann Marie Petach, former treasurer at Ford Motor Co., Dearborn, Mich., will join BlackRock as managing director and head of business finance, a new position, confirmed Brian Beades, BlackRock spokesman. Ms. Petach, who was responsible for the overall pension investment management of Fords $41 billion defined benefit plan, will join BlackRock midyear. She will be responsible for the companys overall global management reporting, forecasting, treasury and enterprise risk, said Mr. Beades. Neil Schloss, assistant treasurer at Ford, replaced Ms. Petach as treasurer, confirmed spokesman Tom Hoyt. He could not immediately say how Mr. Schloss will be replaced as assistant treasurer.
Separately, Stephen Buller is stepping down as BlackRocks CFO to tend to family health issues. Mr. Buller will now head BlackRocks global accounting policy and controls division, a new position. Paul Audet, head of BlackRocks cash management business, will be acting CFO. There is no timetable for a permanent replacement, said Mr. Beades.
