New pensions team head at BNP Paribas

Jim Johnston was appointed head of the Americas pensions team at BNP Paribas, a new position, said Antony Osborn-Barker, head of pensions. Based in New York, Mr. Johnston will lead BNP’s efforts to expand its global risk solutions group, which focuses on risk management as related to corporate pension funds. He will report to Mr. Osborn-Barker. Mr. Johnston was principal and senior consultant at Mercer Investment Consulting; Mercer spokeswoman Stephanie Poe could not be reached for further comment by press time.
