New York City Employees Retirement System, with $38.1 billion in assets, and the $33.9 billion New York City Teachers Retirement System are looking to hire investment advisers to run domestic and international environmental/sustainable investment equity strategies. Individual portfolios are expected to range between $20 million and $100 million, according to the RFP. Joseph Haslip, assistant comptroller for pensions, did not return calls seeking additional information.
