Kerrin Rosenberg, senior investment consultant at Hewitt Associates, will leave the company after 15 years to become the U.K. CEO for Cardano Risk Management, a Dutch-based specialist in derivatives overlay strategies, according to spokeswoman Ellen Gracey. He has not announced his date of departure. Mr. Rosenberg will not be directly replaced, but Hewitt is recruiting quite extensively, spokesman Colin Mayes said. Kerrin has been a broad thinker for Hewitt and we wish him well.
Mr. Rosenberg will lead Cardanos expansion in the U.K. with the opening of a London office. Later this year, the firm plans to recruit about 20 more people in investment consulting and asset management, among other related areas. In 2006, Cardano implemented derivatives valued at about €25 billion ($33 billion) linked to risk management strategies. Its clients include the pension funds of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Amstelveen, Netherlands, which has about €10.5 billion in assets.
