The American College will soon boast a retirement income center.
New York Life Insurance Co., New York, donated $2 million to The American College, Bryn Mawr, Pa., to establish the New York Life Center for Retirement Income to explore retirement income solutions among retirees, said Eric Gordon, spokesman for The American College.
The center will provide funding to support the creation of an annual guide for personal financial planners that will outline different products and services, as well as investing trends, and also support research on the retirement income needs of individuals. The center will also host a professor of retirement and finance, a doctoral fellow and support staff.
The American College is a non-profit organization for professionals in the insurance and financial services industry.
