Ex-INVESCO director joins DeAM

Robert Strachan joined Deutsche Asset Management as director, a new position. He will work with West Coast consultants, confirmed spokeswoman Mayura Hooper. Mr. Strachan will be based in San Francisco and report to Susan Small, managing director and global head of consulting relations. The consultant relations team is being expanded, but Ms. Hooper could not provide further information and Ms. Small was not available for comment. Mr. Strachan was director of marketing at INVESCO. Bill Hensel, spokesman for INVESCO, said the position was eliminated after a reorganization in July.
