Mark McCombe will replace Alain Dromer as head of HSBCs group investment businesses, four investment management subsidiaries with a total of $328 billion in assets under management as of Dec. 31, according to spokeswoman Jenne Mannion. Mr. McCombe will assume the role on March 31 when Mr. Dromer leaves HSBC to pursue other interests, Ms. Mannion said. Further details were not available, and Mr. Dromer declined to comment. Mr. McCombe is chief executive of HSBC Private Bank for the U.K., Channel Islands and Luxembourg. HSBC is searching for Mr. McCombes replacement in the private banking role, Ms. Mannion said.
