City of Atlanta General Employees' Pension Plan hired New York Life Investment Management to run $66 million in the company's recently launched quantitative midcap core institutional strategy, said Nancy Paris, NYLIM spokeswoman. She declined to say whether NYLIM replaced another manager. Investment consultant Gray & Co. assisted, Ms. Paris added. Atlanta plan officials could not be reached for comment. The plan has $833 million in assets, according to the Money Market Directory.
