Vanguard Group will offer four ETFs based on existing bond index funds pending regulatory approval, said John Demming, a Vanguard spokesman. The new Vanguard ETFs will be based on the Vanguard Total Bond Market index, Vanguard Short-Term Bond index, Vanguard Intermediate-Term Bond index and Vanguard Long-Term Bond index funds.
"They are expected to be the lowest-cost and the most broadly diversified exchange-traded bond funds on the market," Mr. Demming said.
