AXA Investment Managers is the latest money manager to join the Enhanced Analytics Initiative, according to a news release. The EAI is an international coalition of investors and managers that encourages investment research focusing on the impact of issues including sustainable development, corporate governance and environmental concerns on the performance of public companies. As part of the EAI membership agreement, AXA IM committed to allocating at least 5% of its annual research budget to organizations that "best analyze the material extra-financial and intangible issues that can affect a company's or a sector's performance," according to the release.
AXA has €480 billion ($620.57 billion) in assets under management, and its membership brings the EAI members' total AUM to €1.8 trillion, the release said.
