BROOKLINE, Mass. — Brookline Retirement System hired AEW Capital Management to run $8 million in value-added real estate, confirmed Frank Zecha, director of the $215 million plan.
Funding will come from terminating Bailard Inc., which ran a real estate portfolio with roughly the same amount of money. The change was not related to performance; plan officials wanted a different strategy.
