The Northamptonshire County Council Pension Scheme, Northampton, England, is seeking at least one manager to run a total of £50 million ($98 million) in a hedge fund of funds, confirmed Emma Bland, pension fund accountant. Officials at the £1.05 billion pension plan have not decided how to fund the new mandate, Ms. Bland said. The fund had 42% invested in U.K. equities, 28% in overseas equities, 26% in bonds and 4% in real estate as of March 31, according to the council's annual report. The RFP is available from Mercer Investment Consulting. Proposals are due Feb. 5, and a decision is expected in the second quarter.
