The Massachusetts Port Authority Employees' Retirement System, Boston, is searching for a manager to run $40 million in either active or passive international core/growth equities, confirmed Irene Moran, director-retirement. Incumbent Baring Asset management will be invited to rebid. She declined to comment on why the $365 million plan is conducting the search. Kim Shepherd, spokeswoman for Wilshire, declined to comment. Responses are due Nov. 30, and plan officials hope to make a selection by the end of January.
