Private equity returned 22.5% for the year ended June 30, down from 23.9% for the 12 months ended March 31, according to data released by the National Venture Capital Association and Thomson Financial. Venture capital returned an average 16.2% for the year, down from 19.2% for the year ended March 31. Buyouts returned an average 27.3% for the year ended June 30, down from 28.3% in the year ended March 31.
Mezzanine returned an averag€9.7% for the year ended June 30, down from 10.90% in the year ended March 31.
