Fonds de Reserve pour les Retraites, Paris, rehired Goldman Sachs International as its transition broker to execute roughly €25 billion ($31.4 billion) in transactions on behalf of the €28.2 billion pension plan, according to an FRR news release. Goldman Sachs was initially hired in July 2004 for a contract that would last for three years or until transaction volumes reached €16 billion ($20.1 billion). The fund issued an RFP in the spring in anticipation of reaching that volume limit. FRR spokeswoman Christelle Cuzou was not available for comment at press time.
