Cadence Design Systems Inc., San Jose, Calif., is adding a managed account feature to its $450 million 401(k) plan, along with replacing its risk-based lifestyle funds with age-based lifecycle funds and adding automatic enrollment, said Cindy Conway, group director of compensation and benefits. The changes take effect Jan. 1. The managed accounts will be provided by Financial Engines. Bundled provider JPMorgan Retirement Plan Services supplies the asset allocation funds.
