Patricia Dunn resigned as non-executive vice chairman at Barclays Global Investors, as first reported this morning on Pensions & Investments' website, www.pionline.com. The resignation was Ms. Dunn's decision, said BGI spokesman Tom Taggart. The company has not determined if she will be replaced.
Ms. Dunn served as the co-CEO and co-chairman of BGI from 1995 to 1998, and was sole chairman and CEO from 1998 to 2002, when she stepped down to become part-time vice chairman while undergoing treatment for cancer.
Ms. Dunn, former chairman and director at Hewlett-Packard Co., is currently facing felony charges in California in connection with Hewlett-Packard's allegedly illegal investigations into boardroom leaks.
