

Sam Paddison, senior vice president, CIO and head of customizable fixed income at Evergreen Investments, left to "pursue other opportunities," confirmed spokesman Dan Flaherty. Evergreen recently conducted a strategic review of its fixed-income business, which managed $156 billion in assets as of Dec. 31. The review was intended to "better align the groups and resources," and Mr. Paddison felt that this was an appropriate time to pursue other opportunities. Further details on the realignment could not be learned by press time. Mr. Paddison was not immediately available at his home for comment.
Keith Jamaitis was hired by Lava Trading as director of the firm's order-management system ColorPalette, and Jack Kindregan as director of sell-side sales, confirmed spokesman Philip Nunes. Both positions are new.
Robb Hill joined American United Life Insurance as regional vice president of Northern sales for defined contribution plans, said Jessica Mace, spokeswoman. It is a new position. Mr. Hill was vice president of producer services at 401k Advisors. Vince Giovinazzo, CEO of 401(k) Advisors, did not return calls seeking information on Mr. Hill's replacement.
