Max F. Roberts was hired as CIO of Pallium Investment Management, confirmed spokesman Patrick O'Herlihy. It is a new position at Pallium, an investment management firm established earlier this year by BMO Financial Group and investment veterans Flavio Bartmann and Conrad Voldstad. Mr. Roberts was chief trading officer at Primus Guaranty.
Virginia Meany was hired as senior vice president of the North American investor services team at State Street Corp., confirmed spokeswoman Carolyn Cichon. It is a new position. She reports to James S. Phalen, executive vice president and head of State Street's North American investment servicing business. Ms. Meany was president and CEO of JPMorgan Investor Services in Boston. She will be replaced by Russell Warren, said spokeswoman Pamela Snook. Mr. Warren was the fund accounting manager for Boston, responsible for fund accounting and fund administration in the mutual fund investment operations group.
