

Christopher Fay was named senior vice president of international securities lending at Metropolitan West Securities in London, confirmed Mark Folk, spokesman for parent company Wachovia. Mr. Fay's position and the London office are both new. Mr. Fay is responsible for MetWest's third-party agent-lending business outside of the United States. He reports to Daniel Murphy, MetWest's managing director and global COO. Mr. Fay was CEO of SecFinex, an Internet-based global equities trading platform.
Christopher Aust was named director of acquisitions and dispositions for Principal Real Estate Investors, confirmed spokeswoman Tina Marchetti. Mr. Aust will be responsible for building the company's real estate investment business in the Pacific Northwest. He reports to Rod Vogel, managing director of equity production. Mr. Aust was previously director-capital markets group at global real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield. Terence Spillane, a spokesman at Cushman, was not available for comment. Principal Real Estate Investors manages $35.4 billion in commercial real estate assets.
Dale J. Palmer was named CFO of the $373 million Georgia State University Foundation, Atlanta, effective Sept. 18, confirmed controller Jim Winters. Mr. Palmer will report to CEO Nancy Peterman. He replaces Ellen Burgen, who retired May 31. Mr. Palmer was controller of the $395 million Arizona State University Foundation, Tempe, Mr. Winters said. The ASU Foundation has not yet begun searching for his replacement, CFO Judy Van Gorden said.
