Wichita (Kan.) Retirement Systems is undertaking an asset allocation study, confirmed Barbara Davis, pension manager of the $900 million fund. Consultant Callan Associates will conduct the study, which should be completed by the end of the year, she said. The plan's current targets are 47% domestic equity, 28% domestic fixed income, 20% international equity and 5% real estate. The fund is not looking at any specific new investments, Ms. Davis said.
