The Metropolitan Government of Nashville (Tenn.) & Davidson County Teachers' Retirement Plan is searching for an active domestic small-cap core or value equity manager to run $12 million, confirmed David Lee, director of manager research and principal with plan consultant Dahab Associates. The allocation for the $90 million plan is new. Funding will likely come from a general redistribution, Mr. Lee said. The move is being made for diversification. Celia Yancey, metropolitan government treasurer, was not available for comment at press time. The RFP is available on Dahab's website at http://dahab.com/searches.html. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EDT Oct. 25. Final presentations are scheduled for Dec. 6.
