The Flintshire County Council, lead authority for the Clwyd Pension Fund, Mold, Wales, issued an RFP for a manager to run a £40 million ($75 million) global tactical asset allocation portfolio targeting a return of 10 to 20 percentage points above LIBOR, according to a news release. No information on the source of funding was available at press time.
Following an asset allocation review earlier this year, officials of the £800 million pension fund decided to move toward more unconstrained and higher-alpha strategies while adding diversification.
The RFP is available from bfinance via e-mail at [email protected] Proposals are due Oct. 9, and a decision is expected by April.
