Randall Kirkland was named president, CEO and a director of Kennedy Capital Management, said Chuck Bryant, vice president of marketing. Mr. Kirkland replaces Paul Miller Jr., who died of cancer in July 2005; Richard Sinise, CIO, and Patricia Row, COO, jointly managed the firm for the past year. Mr. Kirkland joined Kennedy Capital as director of client service in October 2005 and will retain that role, with support from Mr. Bryant. In late March, employees completed a deal with the Kennedy family giving them majority ownership of the firm. Employees now own 86% of the company's overall shares and 98% of the voting stock, up from 40% and 22%, respectively. Kennedy Capital has $4.2 billion in assets under management.
