The Louisiana Teachers' Retirement System, Baton Rouge, rehired JPMorgan Investment Advisors, which runs $240 million in active domestic core fixed income portfolio for the fund, confirmed Dan Bryant, CIO. The $13.7 billion fund also named Delaware Investments, EARNEST Partners, ING Investment Management, Peregrine Capital Management and Schroder Investment Management North America as finalists in its search for two other core fixed-income managers, to run $235 million each. The system issued an RFP in May, and plan officials hope to select the firms at the board's Sept. 11-12 meeting. The contracts of incumbents EARNEST Partners and Peregrine Capital expire next month.
