Institutional Shareholder Services created an options backdating information center for investors in reaction to recent disclosures about the practice at some companies, ISS said in a statement. The center will conduct a webcast forum July 13 about options backdating and the implications for shareholders.
The center contains an options backdating study by Erik Lie, associate professor of finance at the University of Iowa, and Randall Heron, associate professor of finance at Indiana University, and an ISS white paper called "An Investor Guide to the Stock Option Timing Scandal."
The center is available at www.issproxy.com/optionsbackdating/index.jsp.
